We are committed to continuously improving and innovating to ensure that we respond to your emerging needs. We believe that in the fast, ever-changing world of technology, adopting the latest innovations are critical to ensuring that we have the best opportunity to deliver quality healthcare.
Here are some innovative solutions that we are bringing to you soon:
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) can cause major disability to individuals and has a huge impact on families, as well as on our healthcare system.
Over the past 18 months, we have worked with AUT and ACC to develop the Brain Injury Screening Tool (BIST). It is a unique digital triaging tool that enables clinicians to diagnose TBIs earlier. This is vital for patients suffering from a TBI, as it can improve the diagnosis time and available treatments for the patient.
We are also partnering with ProCare and Pegasus PHOs to roll out a 12-month Pilot Programme. Please contact your Manage My Health Account Manager if you are interested in participating in this pilot.
We recognise that validated health information is critical for better patient experiences. We have developed a unique Knowledge Base, comprised of audio-visual content, which will be readily available to both patients and providers. This content has been developed by leading clinicians and health organisations.
The application will enable users to be prompted where medical conditions or diagnoses are identified so that the content is relevant and context-sensitive. We expect to release this in October.
Manage My Health continues to have a strong working relationship with Medtech, and we fully support the exciting innovations developed by the team this year.
We are pleased to announce that in November we will be rolling out the ALEX integration, which will help providers achieve seamless integration with their Medtech PMS.
We will also be supporting Medtech’s Medeor Payment Engine and will keep you informed on the progress of our integration programme.
The My Health Account provides a patient identity verification service, developed and validated by Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand). This will enable practices and providers to verify the identity of the patient through a robust system to improve the existing process of identification in person. This will also assist practices to smoothly onboard patients to Manage My Health.
With our constant improvement and enhancement of customer care in mind, we are very excited to announce the development of a 24/7 Chatbot. This will enable providers to access support services 24/7, as and when they are needed. Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to launch by the end of the year.
